Type of Ignition System-Cooking Ranges

Automatic ignition system is more convenient and easy to use as compared to the Pilot ignition system as it eliminates the need to use a lighter. Pilot ignition systems have a small flame in the gas units that needs to be lighted with the help of a lighter to start cooking. Most of the cooking appliances today feature pilotless ignition systems, where all one needs to do is turn on a knob to ignite the burner.There are basically two types of ignition systems: Automatic and Pilot. Some models have the option of choosing between the two types of ignition systems.
