Tuner Band (SW)-Audio Systems

A type of tuner band. SW or Short Wave is simply sound waves transmitted at a particular frequency. The wave size is smaller than that of Medium Wave. In India, SW is not quite as popular. The reason could be that only a fraction of the population understands foreign languages or even English for that matter. Another reason could be that the reception is very weak and not very audible. SW signals carry various programs from different countries like Music - both multi lingual and English, news such as BBC news, and lots more. These bands could be split up into a number of bands such as SW 1, SW 2, and so on. Not all audio systems offer the SW band, but you should confirm that it does have this feature if you are a hardcore SW fan.
