Scanning Frequency Horizontal-Monitors
Scanning frequency (horizontal) also called, as Line frequency is the speed of horizontal scanning on the monitor screen or the number of video lines written on the screen every second (from left to right) and is measured in KHz. Scanning is the process by which an image is developed. The electron beams excite the phosphor on the monitor screen dot-by-dot and line-by-line. Scanning is done horizontally as well as vertically. This scanning is done as per a certain time interval expressed in frequency. Horizontal frequency is more than that of the vertical frequency.
