Number of Speakers-Audio Systems
It indicates the number of speakers that come with the audio system. Greater number of speakers does not necessarily mean better sound. However, what you should use to measure the output is the wattage in PMPO or the RMS (See /*OUTPUT POWER (PMPO)*/). Generally greater the number of channels per speaker, and larger the wattage of each speaker, better is the quality of the speakers. What you should keep in mind is that the speakers should play all the frequencies of sound. Normally Hi-Fi systems have the best quality speakers followed by the Mini systems and then the inexpensive Portables. Hi-Fi systems have a maximum of 7 speakers. Mini systems have a maximum of 4 speakers and Portable systems normally have 1 to 2 speakers.
