Copier Type-Multi Functional Devices

Copiers are of two types: Analog and Digital. The traditional copiers use Analog technology. They work like a camera when they make copies, using a lens to take a picture of the document to be copied. These copiers are not so popular these days, as more and more copier buyers are choosing the newer Digital technology. Digital photocopying is a technology that breaks up an image into tiny rows and columns like a scanner. Digital copiers offer a greater range of features, particularly the ability to connect the copier to a computer network. In the case of a Digital photocopier, once an image is scanned into the copier, it is broken down into pixels and saved in the memory. The image then, is copied directly from the memory and does not required to be scanned again as in the case of Analog photocopying.
